Introduction
The system requirements for a BITMOTECO VM are listed below under BITMOTECO VM - system requirements.
License software is also required, which can be installed directly on the hypervisor or in a separate license VM. The BITMOTECO VMs and the license VM can run together on the same hypervisor. Multiple servers are not required. The system requirements for the hypervisor then depend on the overall performance required. However, if a separate license server is to be used, please refer to the section license server - system requirements.

Explanation
- 443/TCP: For user connections to the BITMOTECO VM via a web browser
- 80/TCP: For user connections to the BITMOTECO VM via a web browser (additional HTTP-Port)
- 22/TCP: Default SSH-Port (can be changed)
- Additional ports: BITMOTECO modules may require additional ports (see the respective module documentation for details)

Internet connection available: An internet connection (only during license import) is recommended for easy importing of licenses to the license server. This makes it easier to import licenses to the license server. Outgoing connections to WIBU-SYSTEMS at (https://lc.codemeter.com): 443/TCP.
No internet connection: Manual file-based import of licenses into the license server required (not recommended due to the effort involved)
