Node types and classes

We offer different nodes with a performance level depending on the individual user application. To make it easy for customers, we have divided the devices into different classes. These range from S to XL. Below you will find examples of the use cases for nodes in each of the performance classes and the general minimum requirements.

General minimum requirements

Type	Requirement	Comment
HDD / SSD	minimum: 32 GB, recommended: 64 GB+	We recommend to provide more than 32 GB if you want to install multiple additional modules and store measurement data locally on the edge device.
CPU	x86 architecture	We support the x86 architecture. Note: ARM builds are possible in principle, but are not currently offered.
